How Corporate Headshots Work

  • 01 | On-site setup: We photograph your team at your location with a streamlined setup or according to your creative input.

02 | Prep support: We provide tips and templates to manage scheduling, preparation for your individuals, and support throughout the process.

  • 03 | Efficient sessions: Each person gets adequate time for a good photograph without the overwhelm. We can move as fast or slow as you need us to.

04 | Image review & selections: Team members choose favorites on-site or via a private gallery later.

  • 06 | Final delivery: You receive high-res, edited files with full usage rights. We edit everyone to look flattering, but natural.

  • Optional add-ons: Group shots can be included in the overall project scope, extra images, hair/makeup for execs, custom locations or backdrops, and more.

Frequently Asked Questions about Corporate Headshots

  • We can vary our approach to headshot sessions:

Fast “assembly-line” style is about 2-3 minutes per person, very few adjustments, and no review.

Our favorite approach: 10-15 time slots per person with a chance to review real-time photos out of camera.

Note: A shorter time per person doesn’t necessarily lead to a lower fee. We base our fees on total project time, which would include managing how final headshots are chosen and edited.

We focus on your goals to recommend an approach: quantity and speed, editing quality, image review, or a combination of all three.

  • Corporate headshots have an average lifespan of 5+ years (some folks are using 10-year old headshots!)

Those professional headshots are activated across sales and marketing communications materials, making them one of the most cost-effective ways to keep your company’s brand polished and consistent.

  • Projects are estimated based on the overall time and scope required, including the number of people photographed, the creative approach, and the level of editing or retouching requested.

As a general guideline, clients with larger teams typically invest $150 to $400+ per person.

Here is a pricing sheet with more information.

  • Because production time can be shared across a larger group, the per-person cost often becomes more cost-effective as the group size increases.

We’ll guide you toward an approach that balances your top priority among quality, efficiency, and budget.

The general rule of thumb for less expensive per-person headshots is to create shorter time slots, no review on set, and no advanced editing.

  • At this time, I only offer personal branding sessions, which are a more in-depth approach to support small businesses and solopreneurs.

I do not offer individual headshots designed for LinkedIn profiles or resumes. The time and cost to produce a single photo is generally cost-prohibitive for most people, so focus on teams and corporations.
